see these two pictures? they are characters in the movie titled initial d... i sure liked that movie very much even though i only watched it like about....a week plus ago? edison chen is VERY cute!! haha, what a thing to say, coming from me. BUT, jay chou was also the same to me lah...hmm, cannot make up my mind!!! i got to admit, even though it was jay's first lead performance, he did quite okay. i was more interested in the drifting scenes. who says girls cannot like fast cars right? i might not want to drive in the future but the thrill of racing and turning at crucial points excites me in some ways. nevermind, my brother's getting the one that we can watch on television so i will be able to watch it again. yahoo! [haha....this girl sure got a lot of free time despite the tests and incoming examinations huh?] you could say that but then, i can't just study all the time can i? my brain will just burst from overloading! [not literally and i dont think that it will burst anyway, still got a lot of unused space im sure] just can't wait to watch initial d and even charlie and the chocolate factory which is coming up in theatres soon!!! watch for it!

my social studies course at dunman high was very knowledgable for me. even though they may teach the same things that were taught in my classroom, the method of teaching was different and that it made me become more interested instead of getting bored of it. the course was specially for those taking a combination of elective history and social studies. i didnt mind it even though i was taking elective geography. at least i would be able to pass on the information my friend who takes history but missed out on the course, about how to interprete pictorial sources and so on. never see it from one point of view. i remeber that he said, The knowledge that you gain would affect what values you treasure.Hence it would affect your skills, lifelong or exam ones. he took an example from the recent case where students chose hitler as their idol. was it the teacher's or students fault? you guess. their knowledge may affect their values as how they percieve hitler as. a person may have inadequate information even though one might be knowledgable.

the next session was with Mrs Tan, on how to answer source-based and structured-essay questions but it focuses more on answering source-based questions. the slides showed different types of questions and the different ways in writi
ng the answer, also what to include in your answers. when dealing with LORMS, always try to reach at least level 3-5. even if you get 3 out of 5 marks for SBQ, its good enough already. she also showed how much time that you should allocate for each SBQ and SEQ question. nevermind if you have not finished the question within the time 'allocated' , just move on to the next because you are only given a limited amount of time during the exam.

i may just attend another course like this. my school was the most 'enthusiastic' school of all in the auditorium. not only were we the one always interrupting the class, we also made the most noise when a damaian went to stage to answer a question by shouting them the answers and the student ended up having to share the present with the whole lot that was present. it was cool to see the damaian spirit being kept alive outside school. if thats what you can call it.... it has been such a fun day. after all, i went to marine parade with my friends after the course ended at about 5.15pm. but, thats another story. next time then.
