I'm so sick

I'm so sick.
Its a really horrible feeling.
Luckily, today's my last prelim paper.
Fortunately, it was physics.
I could manage that.
I have a really bad running nose.
A fever is coming soon.
Too bad I have another exam paper this sunday.
I don't want to go anywhere in my current state.
Unfortunately, I'm forced to.
Here I come....

Its the end of the prelim exams. I'm so relieved, but this means that the O Levels are nearer.... Its in one months' time.I have to get down to burying myself in my school books again. I need to make another study plan. I better spot the correct questions for my social studies paper. I hope I did well for my prelims, especially my physics and mathematics, even though I may not plan to go for the first three months' in junior college. This is because I have no intention of going to junior college at all, even though many thought I would be able to make it there. I just am not in favour of the new system next but its okay. At least life in polytechnic should be okay too. The problem is, just what course should I take? Its a choice between taking up a design or a science course. Maybe I would take up something that is related to physics and mathematics or something that requires me to draw, and nothing that is as near as biology. The inclusion of chemistry is also okay, as its my 2nd best science subject. Perhaps I have more interest in science and mathematics than I have towards my interest in drawing. It doesn't matter, as long as I am happy with whatever I am going to do. =)

PRIDE n STH today

waa...... why must Aki's boyfriend come back sia...... yesterday's episode was sooooo nice and then today, become like that. haiya..... there, didn't i tell you in my prevoius post that the bf would come back and therefore create conflict. noooo......my prediction came true. anyway, the audience expects this kind of plot already. other than me, other people knew it was coming. we, as the audience would still watch it even though we may not like what's happening in the show, in order to find out how our two lovable characters get together again. ahhhh...... why must he come back..... just when it starts to get interesting between Aki and Halu, then he comes. what 'good' timing huh. furthermore, after todays episode, i have to wait till next monday for the continuation as it only shows on monday and tuesday of each week. nooo.... the attraction of tv shows....

chengjun and jingshu finally gets back together again. phew.... after all that waiting and chasing, i am a bit relieved to see it all end. however, compared to my other friends, i feel for the other guy, taihua, for giving up jingshu to chengjun, when he realises that she would only encounter misery if she stayed with him. my friends don't really like him because he 'stole' jingshu from chengjun. however, give that guy a break would you. love drives people crazy you know. he's already paying for what he's done by not being with jingshu anymore. the actor playing chengjun's character is so cute that you would just envy him for his cute boyish looks. actually, he's my second attraction to watch the show other than the story plot. even though i now know how the story's going to end from my friends, i will still devote my time to watching the show as its no use knowing the ending if you don't know how they got there in the first place.

so, tonight, i'm going to watch these two shows despite having physics and additional mathematics prelim exams tomorrow. i've been watching korean and japanese shows this one wand a half weeks even though i have preliminary exams at the same time. in order to de-stress myself lor..... enjoy the show when you watch it! =)

Pride

- Satonaka Halu, captain of the Blue Scorpions - played by Takuya Kimura in Pride -

- Aki and Halu - [ I don't know when it was taken in the show but nice scene right? haha... ] -

  • 'Pride' is shown only on mondays and tuesdays.
  • Takuya Kimura plays the leading role, Satonaka Halu, as the captain of the Blue Scorpions.
  • The Blue Scorpions consists of ice-hockey players.
  • In my opinion, the two 'lovebirds' above don't know that they are falling for each other.
  • Aki is still waiting for her boyfriend who had disappeared for a long time.
  • Halu and Aki decides to play a game where they 'pretend' to go out with each other in order not to get heartbroken if they decide to 'break up'.
  • [I think its that way because I missed the first episode and only watched from the second one onwards. Do correct me by giving your comments below ok?]
  • [I also think that with stories like this, usually the missing person would reappear, create conflict, break up our favourite pair and tries to break them up forever...]
Haha.... so dramatic one.... Other than this new show, as written in my previous post yesterday, I watch 'Stairway to Heaven' , 'Prince turns into a Frog' and 'Ups and Downs in the sea of love' . I had just read on how the plot of the story goes from the official website, http://u.mediacorptv.com/.

'Stairway to Heaven' is a love story about four different characters and how they perceive love as. Not another love triangle, it is a love square! Will true love prevail, as they say?

'Prince turns into a Frog' is a story about an ambitious 'prince' who lost his memory after an accident. This then caused him to become a 'frog' , since he's now poor, without knowing that he's a general manager for a company and was literally rich! A girl, who has a charm that she's convinced brings her to wealthy people, came upon him when he lost his memory and abuses him with work, without knowing that he was the one she has been looking for all along... *sigh* So complicated....

'Ups and Downs in the sea of love' is a story involving two people lost at love, got together on the cruise and were married in less than a week. However, they broke off when a misunderstanding occurred. They realised that they were colleagues when spotted each other on another cruise. Soon, the love between them came crashing down again bit by bit...

I'll tell you something weird. I can't help but laugh when these shows are shown at their various time-slots. Everything seemed so funny, regardless of whether its the characters, their acting, whatever it is that they are doing or so to put it that way... Even though these shows are all about love and stuff.. Tonight, I must remember to watch 'Prince turns into a Frog' and 'Ups and Downs in the sea of love'. There is also a movie tonight at 11.30PM at Channel U, titled 'The Phone. Better not miss it this time!

I'm starting to get addicted to late night animes on central every wednesday to friday nights, korean shows at 7.30PM and 10PM on Channel U. I simply adore the lovable and cute characters such as Tetsunosuke in Peacemaker and Shannon, Raquel and Pacifica in the Scrapped Princess. This also includes Satonaka Halu in Pride [ 7.30PM from mondays and tuesdays ] , Jason in Ups and Downs in the Sea of Love [ 10PM from wednesdays to fridays ] , Zu Xhixian and Shan Junhao in Prince who turns into a Frog [ 7.30PM from thursdays and fridays ] , Han Jingshu / Jin Zhixiu, Han Zhexiu and Che Chengjun in Stairway to Heaven [ 10PM from mondays and tuesdays ]. Hope you guys out there would love it and be fortunate to have seen these shows on their first or second episodes like I did.

Today was also my preliminary examinations for English Language and Mother Tounge Paper One. As I expected, I did a descriptive essay for the english paper. It also came with a speech that was compulsory for the paper. As for my mother tounge paper, I did not do an argumentative essay but something else that requires me to talk about an excursion, while learning, to religious builidings in Singapore. Since I went to those places for my heritage tour this year, I had a good oppurtunity to describe my experience and what I learnt from that experience. Everyone I knew that I asked, did not do the descriptive essay like I did. Is it really my strength to write those kind of essays? I don't know.... I was expected to describe a scene at a national celebration this time round instead of the scene after a natural disaster had struck, for my mid-year-exam. If I scored well for this paper, I would be reassured that my performance during mid-year was not a fluke and probably talent hidden inside me all along. Haha.... what a thing to say...

Today is the last day of term three in school. Time sure flies so fast... When school reopens after the september school holidays, my practical prelim examinations and other prelim exams are also going to start. Everything is happening so fast and I can't seem to grab hold of reality that much yet. There are going to be extra remedial classes this coming week and of course, a holiday that is not a 'holiday' at all. What with all the homework, assignments to do and classes to attend and the revision needed for the upcoming examinations. School has always been very memorable this year and this term's no different. Tomorrow, I'm going to the Tampines Regional Library to study with my friends early in the morning. At 10am you know! That is a bit early if compared to my usual wake-up time during the holidays. Better get ready for tomorrow then.... JN accompanied me to my house bus-stop again. And as usual, L, J, HT and BH all talk 'crab' again.... *haizz* No big deal... At least I have a friend right?

I didn't realise that the english language has so much stuff to know properly. I had to spend a few hours perfecting about 3 sentences from my summary test only! Can get headache one lor.... See the same sentence over and over again. Correcting it time and time again. Being told that it's actually correct but it can be improved / cut down some more. It gets on your nerves over some time though. I nearly lost hope on a sentence but perseverance came through to me. Finally, that sentence is settled..... =)
